Baby seal closes lake in Weston-super-Mare

A seal has temporarily closed a popular lake in Weston-super-Mare after it was spotted resting on a footpath.

The lake and footpaths around it have been shut so rangers can protect "Sally" - and allow it to leave with the tide tonight.

The team there, who filmed the seal, urged people not to come down to the lake, as they were trying to keep it safe.
