Hoyland farmer 'devastated' by HS2 route
The second phase of the £32bn HS2 high-speed rail network will stop at a new station in Sheffield, it has been revealed.
The preferred route of phase two, external running northwards from Birmingham will stop at the Meadowhall shopping centre, which is next to the M1.
BBC Look North's Tom Ingall spoke to local people about the plans, including a farmer from Hoyland who says he is devastated to find out the line will go through his land.
