Bailey Matthews, eight, shows bravery in his first triathlon

An eight-year-old boy with cerebral palsy was cheered over the finish line as he completed his first triathlon unaided.

Bailey Matthews, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, abandoned his walking aid to complete the event.

He received a warm reception as, despite several tumbles, he crossed the finish line at Castle Howard, North Yorkshire, in triumph.
