John Prescott calls Transport for the North "a fraud"

Former Deputy Prime Minister Lord Prescott has branded Transport for the North "a bloody fraud".

He made the comments after storming out of an event to launch a new £70bn plan for improving road and rail infrastructure in the North of England.

Transport for the North said the government was obliged to "formally consider" its plan when taking decisions about transport in the region
