Sheffield: Gas network flood leaves hundreds without heating
Hundreds of people living in a part of Sheffield have been left without heating or cooking facilities after water from a burst pipe leaked into a gas main.
More than 1,000 properties in the city are affected, with engineers working to restore gas supplies.
Several homes in the Stannington area saw water gushing from gas meters and cookers on Friday night, as seen in this footage, which was captured by Danielle Sapsed-Byrne.
