JCB Brazil plant not 'bad news' for UK
The Prime Minister David Cameron has said the opening of a £63m JCB factory in Brazil is not "bad news" for the UK.
The Staffordshire company aims to produce 10,000 machines a year at the facility on Sorocaba.
JCB said if the machines from the new factory sold well then more components would be made in the UK, securing jobs and perhaps creating new ones.
Mr Cameron added: "It's a myth that growth in one country is bad news for another."
