Pensioner's eye appointments 'cancelled for two years'

A 96-year-old glaucoma sufferer claims a Dudley hospital has cancelled every one of her regular check ups for more than two years.

Barbara Lucas, who lives in Lye near Stourbridge, said she has built up a list of cancelled appointments that began when she was 93.

Her daughter, Anne Harris, has contacted Russells Hall Hospital's chief executive demanding answers.

Mrs Lucas has now had an appointment scheduled for October.
