Stafford Hospital: 'Plans would put lives at risk'

Thousands of campaigners marched on Saturday in opposition to plans to move maternity and paediatric care from Stafford Hospital.

Trust Special Administrators want to break up the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust and move the units to neighbouring hospitals.

Campaign group Support Stafford Hospital have opposed the plans, saying they equate to a "downgrade" of care for patients.
