Potteries' poppies nearly complete at Tower of London
The final pieces of one of the world's most striking commemorative displays are being put into place in London.
More than 800,000 ceramic poppies are being arranged around the Tower of London.
They have all been made from Staffordshire clay and almost half have been produced in the Potteries in Staffordshire.
Each poppy commemorates the life of a fallen British or Colonial soldier and the final one will be planted on Armistice Day next month.
BBC Midlands Today's Liz Copper joined families from the Midlands paying their tributes to those who lost their lives in World War One.
