Would you pay to park at school? Stoke-on-Trent parents react

Parents at a primary school have given a mixed reaction to proposals to charge them to park.

If the plan goes ahead, parents driving children to St Gregory's Catholic Academy in Stoke-on-Trent may have to pay £15 a term.

Principal Margaret Yates said, like many schools they are plagued with traffic problems. The school is planning a 50-space car park.

The school board will vote on the plans and, if approved, the charge will be implemented from September.
