Stafford Hospital: Mother 'tried to get help for Jonnie Meek'.

The parents of a three-year-old boy who died last year at Stafford Hospital have told how they tried to get help for their son.

Inquiries have opened into the death of Jonnie Meek, who died while being fed via his stomach in August 2014. An inquest recorded a verdict of natural causes.

Stafford and Surrounds Clinical Commissioning Group is investigating the care the child received at the hospital.

Staffordshire Police is reviewing the information provided to the Child Death Overview Panel.

Jonnie's mother April said she tried her best to get Jonnie some help.
