Brazen thieves ram raid shop with digger and steal ATM

Thieves have used a digger to rip a cash machine from the side of a corner shop in a Worcestershire village.

People living near the shop on Church Street in Kempsey were woken by the noise at about 02:00 BST on Thursday.

The digger was abandoned in the middle of the road as the thieves got away with the cash machine and its contents.

West Mercia Police is investigating the incident and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area when it happened.
