Campaign to keep Josiah Wedgwood vase in the UK
Fundraisers are in a race against time to save a rare piece of Wedgwood pottery for the UK.
The Friends of the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent, need to raise £482,500 to buy the First Day's Vase, external.
It was one of the first pieces to be made by Josiah Wedgwood when he opened the factory in 1769.
It was bought at auction by an overseas buyer last year but the government put a temporary export band on it - that runs out on March 14.
