Cost of living: Stoke-on-Trent family takes on new allotment to cut food bill
A family has taken on an allotment in the hope of cutting its food bill due to the rising cost of living.
Mother-of-two Kate Roe works for a community group in Stoke-on-Trent and her partner is a stay-at-home dad on universal credit.
They took on the allotment this summer and reckon they could save about £900 across a year.
