Sandbach church displays life-size sculpture to remember war dead
A wire-mesh sculpture made by an anonymous artist has gone on display at a Sandbach church as part of remembrance commemorations.
The life-size sculpture depicts a World War One Tommy soldier and his horse on the battlefield and is designed to give a "ghostly" appearance.
The soldier has been seen across the town in recent years, disappearing and reappearing around remembrance weekend.
