Suffolk floods: Lowestoft flood victims criticise council

As contractors helped flooding victims clear up, some traders and homeowners in Lowestoft said not enough had been done by the local council to help them protect their property.

St John's Road bore the brunt of the flooding where some homes were swamped by the surge.

Waveney District Council said it had been praised for its work by other residents.
