Lowestoft man spends thousands responding to scam letters

John Pearce from Lowestoft says he has spent more than £4,000 responding to scam letters.

He receives up to six a day.

He says he has bought thousands of products he does not need, hoping he will win one of the big prizes advertised but which are non-existent.

Criminals refer to people like John as suckers.

Trading standards officers say one thing to look for in scams is misspellings - we have deliberately put one in this video.
