Aerial view of Orfordness Lighthouse defences

Shingle-filled "sausage rolls" have been put in place at the site of the Orfordness Lighthouse in a bid to defend it from the sea.

The bags of shingle have been wrapped in a geo-textile material and aim to protect the lighthouse, on the island near Orford.
