Pleasurewood Hills Rattlesnake model up for auction

A giant snake model is being auctioned off by a theme park in Suffolk to help raise money for local children's hospices.

Sid has been the guardian of the Rattlesnake rollercoaster ride at Pleasurewood Hills, near Lowestoft, for 27 years.

Now the ride is being decommissioned, the 2.5m (8ft) glass fibre snake statue is being auctioned on eBay to raise money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices.

Bids have reached more than £1,180.
