Quad goat befriended by dog on Suffolk farm
One of four goats born on a Suffolk farm has been befriended by a dog while being reared indoors.
The British Toggenburg and red Boer cross kids were born last week at Fulibroch Dairy, in Bures St Mary near Sudbury.
Tim Fairbairn, farmer, said one of the kids - Peewee - was having to be kept inside and had been welcomed by the family's Welsh foxhound dog, Gus.
Peewee spends parts of the day with its siblings outside on the farm, as reported by the East Anglian Daily Times, external.
Richard Pemble, of the British Goat Society, said cross-breeding goats meant their mother was more likely to produce quads.
"It's quite an achievement for the mother," he said. "Let’s hope they are all doing well."
