Thousands of people lined the streets to watch more than 2,400 people complete the Great East Run.

The half marathon in Ipswich saw runners pass through the town centre to Freston, before finishing at Ipswich Town's Portman Road home.

The inaugural race was won by Ryan Prout, from Chelmsford, in a time of 1:12:23.
