Frances Andrade inquest: Gifted musician sank into despair

The husband of violinist Frances Andrade has told an inquest how his wife sank into despair after testifying against the teacher who had abused her as a child at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester.

Mrs Andrade, from Guildford in Surrey, took a drugs overdose a week after after giving evidence at the trial of former choirmaster Michael Brewer.

Her husband, Levine, found his wife dead on 24 January last year.

Brewer was jailed for six years in 2013 for abusing Mrs Andrade.
