Sussex village of Balcombe in eye of fracking storm
The village of Balcombe in West Sussex has, until now, been best known as a pretty spot of about 2,000 residents but now finds itself at the centre of a national environmental row about the future of oil exploration.
Campaigners from all over the country have joined a small band from the village, with about 100 police currently stationed at the site.
