Balcombe anti-fracking protesters' eviction halted in High Court
An attempt by West Sussex County Council to evict anti-fracking protesters from their camp near Balcombe has been adjourned at the High Court.
The authority tried to gain a possession order to allow the removal of campaigners who have spent weeks at the site in London Road, close to where Cuadrilla is test drilling for oil.
A High Court judge said the council's attempt to obtain the order was "flawed".
BBC South East's Fiona Irving spoke to Balcombe resident Juliette Harris, Mark Reckless, Conservative MP for Rochester and Strood, and John Cooper QC, the protesters' barrister.
