Brighton's i360 chairman David Marks sorry for 'teething problems'

The boss of Brighton's i360 tower has apologised to customers after it had to be closed for two days following three breakdowns in five days.

As the seaside attraction reopened on Wednesday, chairman and architect David Marks said it had suffered "teething problems".

The 531ft (161m) viewing tower, in which visitors ascend 450ft (137m) in a 360-degree curved-glass pod, first opened to the public last month.
