Selsey community rallies to help following blaze

Selsey Academy in West Sussex suffered extensive damage in a fire a month ago and much of its contents were destroyed.

Rebuilding the West Sussex school will take two years and pupils are currently being taught at various locations around the town.

Head Tom Garfield has described the numerous gestures of goodwill from the local community following the blaze.

"Anything people could do to help, they did," he said.
