Crawley double amputee learns how to walk again

A student from Crawley who had to have her legs and fingers amputated to save her life has defied doctors' expectations and is learning to walk again using prosthetic legs.

Last year Syeda Mannan had a severe allergic reaction while she was in hospital being treated for lupus.

She was left fighting her life after going into septic shock and suffering organ failure.

Her legs were amputated above the knee in November and her fingers in March.
