A football club pays women and men the same

Lewes Football Club believes it is the first in England to pay female players the same amount as men.

The club's women's team plays in the Premier League Southern Division - the third tier of the women's game.

The men compete in the Isthmian League Division One South, the eighth tier of the men's pyramid.
