Brighton cycling project tackling social isolation

There are two million over-75s who live alone in the UK, most of them women.

That's a lot of people who might not be getting enough of the social interaction we know is so good for us, but the question is how to reach those people who live alone.

In Brighton, a new idea is tackling this problem - and it's as easy as riding a bike.

You can see more on Inside Out South at 19:30 BST on Monday evening.

Find out how to get into cycling with the Get Inspired guide - and help recognise volunteers in your area by nominating them for the Unsung Hero award.
