Knife crime: Brighton doctor describes 'most tragic' deaths

An A&E doctor who has seen "patients go from being well one moment to being critically ill or even dead the next" has spoken to the BBC about the realities of treating victims of knife crime.

Dr Duncan Bootland, who works at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, recalls having to tell families their loved ones have died from their injuries.

He said he will "never forget" some of the cases of knife wounds that he has dealt with.
