Train misses car at Rye level crossing by a few feet

A car and its driver were nearly hit by a freight train moving at full speed, after trying to beat the lights at a level crossing.

The incident, on the A259 at East Guldeford in East Sussex, was caught on CCTV.

It is the tenth near miss on the county's crossings in six months, according to Network Rail.
