On The Map: Picasso's visit to a Sussex pub revealed
For the latest in BBC South East's On The Map series, Sara Thornton visits the East Sussex village of Chiddingly.
In 1950 the artist Pablo Picasso paid a visit to friends in the village near Hailsham, and made a trip to the local pub.
When the great cubist realised he had forgotten his cash, he made the landlord an offer most would find hard to refuse.
