Coast and Country Housing arranges 'bedroom tax' summit

Families expressed their anger at a summit held to warn social housing tenants about the impact of the 'bedroom tax' on Teesside.

Landlord Coast and Country Housing arranged the meeting to advise families about the changes that will see tenants penalised for under-occupancy.

The government insists it must make savings on housing benefit payments and has set aside £155m to help those most in need.
