Mima showcase for local artist William Tillyer

William Tillyer's work is held in the Tate, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in the private collections of David Bowie and Charles Saatchi.

The reclusive artist is relatively unknown on his native Teesside, but this is set to change with the opening of a major retrospective at the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.
