Bosses at Redcar's SSI move to allay loss fears

A Teesside steelmaker has said it can become a sustainable business despite new figures showing it made a loss of £194m last year.

Thai-owned SSI's auditors warned they had "significant doubt" about the Redcar venture's financial viability.

SSI has been hit by cash problems and plant delays, but bosses said it started to make a profit from June this year.
