Teesdale Mercury newspaper printed in colour
A Durham dales newspaper is being printed in full colour for the first time in its 161-year history.
The Teesdale Mercury, a weekly newspaper based in Barnard Castle, is also being printed in a smaller tabloid format after its 21st Century facelift.
Editor Trevor Brookes said the colour would do better justice to news and views from Teesdale.
