Fireball meteor spotted over Teesdale

A fireball meteor was seen lighting up the sky in Teesdale.

The rare sight was captured on camera by astronomer Andrew Morl at Grassholme Observatory on Saturday.

Mr Morl said it "felt great" to have recorded the moment.
