Hartlepool fire: Smoke seen billowing from landfill site

Residents have been warned to keep "all doors and windows closed" due to a fire at a landfill site.

Emergency services were called to Seaton Meadows in Hartlepool at about 08:00 GMT.

Four fire crews are at the scene and people have been advised to avoid the area.

Cleveland Police said the situation was being "monitored".
