The Wallsend TikTok teacher supporting pupils with ADHD
Trampolines, a PlayStation and teacher-student dance battles are being used to support pupils with ADHD.
Silverdale School in Wallsend, North Tyneside, caters for students between the ages of seven and 16 who experience social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Assistant headteacher Jamie Gilbert says both the classroom and the curriculum can be adapted for children with additional needs.
He uses social media to promote positivity around ADHD and has more than one million followers on TikTok.
