Run Geordie Run to continue outback challenge

A Northumberland man attempting to run 2,600 miles across Australia for charity says he will finish the challenge, despite announcing 24 hours earlier that it was too dangerous to continue.

Mark Allison - better known as Run Geordie Run - was just 180 miles from the finish and had said it was the end of the road for him.

But overnight he changed his mind and decided to continue, via a different route.
