Heart op baby home at three months

Chanel Murrish, one of the youngest patients to have had open-heart surgery at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital, has been allowed home.

With only half a heart when she was born, Chanel was immediately taken into surgery. A week later she had another seven-hour operation.

More than 50 medical experts have been involved with saving her life.

Now, at three months old, Chanel is well enough to leave hospital and finally go home. Look North's Sharon Barbour went to meet her.
