Operation for brain tumour Albanian Lorenc Hoxha

An Albanian man arrested in hospital in Newcastle has had his brain tumour removed after returning to his home country.

Lorenc Hoxha's surgery was cancelled after he was held on suspicion of an immigration offence in June.

Friends of the 27-year-old said he has now been operated on in a hospital in Tirana.
