World War Two veteran Len Holloway marks 100th birthday

Villagers have put on a party to celebrate the 100th birthday of World War Two veteran Len Holloway.

Mr Holloway from Potterne in Wiltshire served in Sicily, North Africa and Normandy.

He is head of a large family including five children, 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and six great- great-grandchildren.

As well as being surrounded by his family, school children sang to him and the village hall was decorated in a World War Two theme.
