Musician's 'dream studio' demolished over planning breach
A musician who built a wheelchair-accessible recording studio without the correct planning permission has had it demolished by the council.
Nick Allen had permission to rebuild a barn in Holt, near Bradford-on-Avon, but not to convert it into a studio.
Wiltshire Council said it contravened planning policy and must be removed - a decision backed by the Planning Inspectorate and the High Court.
Mr Allen, a wheelchair user, said the demolition "had destroyed a dream".
