Wiltshire women offer stroke warning to other new mums

Two mums from Swindon, who both suffered a stroke after giving birth, have been speaking about their shock at what happened to them.

Stevi Marshall and Jo Wallace became friends after learning they had both experienced the same thing.

Both women initially suffered headaches but put their symptoms down to postnatal issues.

They were eventually diagnosed after scans and spent time in hospital as a result.

They are now recovering from the effects of their strokes, which included memory loss and confusion.
