Awe-inspiring Sun exhibition opens at Swindon Steam Museum

A new exhibition allowing people to view the surface of the Sun in fine detail has opened at a museum.

Visitors to the exhibition at Swindon's Steam Museum can witness 10 weeks of the Sun's life in twelve-and-a-half minutes.

Created by artist Alex Rinsler and Prof Robert Walsh, the exhibition sees images from NASA's Solar Dynamic Observatory projected onto the sphere.
