Star Inn at Harome: Section of restaurant destroyed by fire

A Michelin-starred restaurant "reduced to ashes" in a fire estimates it may take a year to repair the damage.

Fire crews were called to The Star Inn at Harome, near Helmsley, North Yorkshire, at about 22:15 GMT on Wednesday.

Up to 45 firefighters were at the scene at its height, with much of the thatched straw roof destroyed.
