Northern Ireland police pay tribute after Omagh attack
Police in Northern Ireland have paid tribute to Constable Ronan Kerr, who was killed after a bomb exploded under his car in Omagh, County Tyrone.
District Commander Pauline Shields said Constable Kerr was "extremely proud" to be a member of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
Constable Kerr was recently qualified and is the second policeman to be killed since the PSNI was formed out of the Royal Ulster Constabulary in 2001.
