Belfast ceremony marks Titanic's launch 100 years on
A ceremony has taken place in Belfast to mark the moment the Titanic was launched 100 years ago.
A large crowd of school children cheered as they attempted to re-enact the mood on the docks as those involved in building the ship watched her roll down the slipway.
They later observed a moment of silence in remembrance of the 1,517 people who lost their lives on the ship's maiden voyage.
