Care home closure: One woman 'prayed to God to take her'
Jean Faulkner, 92, has told the BBC that she was informed by her care home that she would need to put her name down for a new home as her current home would close in November.
"I just couldn't believe, the place was like a wake house," she said.
Ms Faulkner, who lives in the Westland care home in Cookstown, County Tyrone, also said some residents were so stressed by the news that one woman "prayed to God at night to take her".
Ms Faulkner was speaking to Stephen Nolan for The Nolan Show.
